Long life you had,
Beautiful eyes and blue,
Mother to my dad,
We bid you sweet adieu.

Wisdom you did impart,
Oh beautiful nana-love,
But now we must part-
To meet in heav’n above.

Cucu you lived fully,
yet Death stole you.
We love you truly,
As does Ngai too.

Now back to our roots,
To remember days past-
to celebrate the fruits
which as seeds you cast.

Parting is terrible sorrow,
Will this pain quit?
Come tomorrow
we’ll meet you sweet.

Rest in peace nana-love,
Watch over us all.
Fly as a dove!
We’ll join you when death doth us call.
