ANALOGY OF LIFE

Torrential rain pours,

Cool tranquility ensues,

Sand streams tallying hours –

Timing our span as nature’s muse.

Thoughts fill the mind,

Truly trudging through life,

Time tries to hold and bind –

Yet slips fast, oh luscious strife.

And on it goes,

Our tenancy on Earth,

Neither friends nor mortal foes –

Can halt our flight to the hearth.

Muse, do, then tarry,

Feel and try be good,

Stop and ponder this hurry,

‘tis the same for all – plant food.
